Due to the increase in combustibles in the forests after the occurrence of large-scale snow and ice disasters, the fire hazard has increased. Nanchang City recently organized law enforcement officers to stop the phenomenon of "kongming lanterns" being fired by the public.
It is understood that the "Kongming Lantern" outer flame temperature is very high, flying into the mountain forest is very easy to cause forest fires; hanging to the high-voltage line will lead to short-circuit of the wire, drop into the liquid
Gasification stations such as gas stations and gas stations may cause major accidents.
Since 2007, when the night falls, some citizens often display "Kongming Lantern" along the banks of the Lancang River near Qiushui Square in Nanchang City. Since the upper section of this section is the main channel of Nanchang Changbei International Airport, the discharge of "Kongming Lantern" has also caused great threat to the safety of civil aviation aircraft entering and leaving the port.
To this end, the Jiangxi Province and Nanchang City Safety Supervision Department recently conducted a special treatment on the "Hongming Lantern" of the public, and publicized the dangers caused by the "Kongming Lantern" on fire prevention and flight safety, and stopped the hawkers selling "Kongming Lantern". At present, thousands of "Kongming Lanterns" have been collected.

Kongming Light Source
The Kongming Lantern is also called the sky lantern. It is said that it was invented by Zhuge Kongming (Zhuge Liang) of the Three Kingdoms. At that time, Zhuge Kongming was trapped in Pingyang by Sima Yi and could not send troops out of the city for help. Kong Ming calculated the wind direction, made a paper lantern that would float, and tied the message of asking for help. The consequences were out of danger, so later the lantern was called Kongming Lantern. Another way of saying this is that the shape of the lantern is like the hat of Zhuge Kongming, hence the name.
Modern people put more light on the hole as a blessing. The wish of blessings by men, women and children is a symbol of success and happiness.
Around the Qing Dynasty, the ancestors were introduced to the Taipei County, Pingxi Township and Tenyu District of Taiwan from the Hui'an and Anxi counties of Fujian Province, the upper reaches of the Keelung River. According to the dictation of the fathers and seniors in the region, in the early years of the Qing Dynasty, the area was overwhelmed by the bandits. Because of the location in the mountains, the villagers escaped from the mountains. After the bandits left, the people staying in the village were cast at night. As a signal, the sky lanterns told the villagers who had taken refuge in the mountains to go down the mountain and return to the village to report their safety to the villagers. Because of the day when the refuge came home from the mountain, it was the Lantern Festival on the 15th day of the lunar calendar. From then on, the annual Lantern Festival, the villagers in the very area were celebrated by the ceremony of the lanterns, and the villagers in the neighboring villages Reporting peace. Therefore, the villagers in the very region also called the sky lanterns "blessing lights" or "safe lights."
Kongming lamp structure
The structure of the kongming lamp can be divided into two parts: the main body and the bracket. The main body is mostly made of bamboo rafts, the second is made of cotton paper or paper paste, and the bottom bracket is made of bamboo. The kongming lamp can be large or small, and can be round or rectangular. The general kongming lamp is formed in a circular shape by a bamboo frame, and the outside is surrounded by a thin white paper and the opening is downward.
When lighting up, attach a piece of coarse cloth or gold paper with kerosene or peanut oil in the middle of the bracket at the bottom. Light the oil before the fly. The fire in the lamp will burn for a while and then generate hot air. The light will expand and the whole light will be released. When the weather is good, the hole lamp will automatically drop after the bottom of the kerosene is burnt.
