However, there is no relevant information about Xiaomi mobile phones and laptops on the website.
South Korean media speculated that the emergence of Xiaomi's Korean version of the website may mean that Xiaomi will officially enter the Korean market. Earlier, there was news that Xiaomi might establish an entity in Seoul, South Korea, to further contact local consumers who like millet products and designs.
“Millet launches a Korean version of the website at the end of May.†A public relations manager at Xiaomi’s Beijing headquarters stated that the establishment of the Korean version of the official website was mainly used to introduce Xiaomi’s ecological chain products and display relevant channel information.

On the other hand, Samsung and LG’s home appliances and electronic products have a huge first-mover advantage in terms of technology, word-of-mouth and market share. It is difficult for Xiaomi to enter such a market.
The Korean market is the home base of Samsung and LG. The side of the couch can let others sleep. Prior to this, Xiaomi's low-cost mobile phone has caused Samsung and LG's panic in South Korea. The latter even pressured operators to remove Xiaomi mobile phone products. Most importantly, Samsung and LG are both competitors and their upstream suppliers, and the screens and other components of Xiaomi's mobile phones and TVs are largely supplied by these two companies. If Xiaomi jeopardizes the core interests of Samsung and LG, it does not rule out the possibility that the two could directly make trouble from the upstream supply chain.
Millet's price advantage is indeed a killer, but the Korean market is not as difficult as it is at home.
