The sore unit detects a high output current imbalance in the parallel inverter module. This fault may be caused by an external scratch (ground fault, motor cable, etc.) or internal fault (inverter component damage). Xx(2...12) represents the drive module number.

Check the motor.

Check the motor cable.

Check that there are no power factor correction capacitors or surge absorbers in the motor cable.

DRV ID CHG

In the transmission mode, the ID number of the transmission becomes non-1 (this change is not displayed on the control panel). If the ID number does not become 1 during setup, the transmission cannot communicate with the control panel after the next power-on. .

Press DRIVE to enter the drive selection mode or, then press ENTER to set the ID number to 1, and finally press ENTER.

If normal communication is not possible between the transmission and the control panel, please set the ID number to 1. as described in Chapter 2.

EARTH FAULT (23

30)

ENCOOER(

7301)

Communication failure between the pulse encoder and the pulse encoder interface module, or communication failure between the pulse encoder and the drive unit.

Check the pulse encoder and its wiring, the pulse encoder interface and its wiring, the setting of the parameter group 50PULSEENCOOER.

ID DONE

The ACS800 has performed motor identification excitation and is ready to run.

This warning is a normal startup step.

Continue the operation of the transmission.

ID MAGN

Motor identification excitation function enabled.

This warning is a normal startup step.

Wait until the drive unit shows that the motor identification has been completed.

ID MAGN

REQ

Need to identify the motor.

This alarm is a normal start-up procedure. The drive expects the user to choose the way to perform the motor identification: by identifying the excitation or identification run (ID RUN).

Start with the Start button to activate the excitation or select ID Run (see 99.10MOTOR ID RUN)

ID N CHANGED

The ID number of the drive unit has been modified from 1.

Change the ID number of the drive back to 1. See Control Panel.

ID RUN FAIL

Motor ID RUN failed to complete successfully.

Check the maximum speed (parameter 20.2), which should be at least 80% of the rated motor speed (parameter 99.8).

ID RUN SEL

Select the motor identification run, the drive is ready to start ID RUN. This alarm belongs to the normal ID RUN step.

Press the Start button to start the identification run.

IN CHOKE TEMP (FF81)

The input reactor temperature is too high.

Stop the drive and let it cool.

Check the ambient temperature.

Check that the direction of rotation of the fan is correct and that the ventilation is smooth.

INV DISABLED

The optional DC switch is already open when the drive is stopped.

Turn off the DC switch.

Check the AFSC–Ox charging knife fuse switch controller unit.

LIFETIME>

90%

The calculated life of the hoisting machine (in the crane life monitoring) exceeds 90% of the value set by parameter 74.3 CRANE LIFETIME.

Check the mechanical part of the crane. Please contact the crane factory.

MACRO CHANGE

The macro is recovering or is storing user macros.

Wait until the drive completes the task.

MOTOR

STARTS

The motor identification run begins. This alarm belongs to the normal ID RUN step.

Wait until the drive unit shows that the motor identification has been completed.

MOTOR TEMP (4301

) Programmable fault function 30.4...30.10

The motor temperature is too warm (or has an over-temperature trend). Possible causes are: severe overload, insufficient motor power, insufficient cooling or incorrect startup data.

Check the motor's rated parameters, load conditions and cooling conditions.

Check the startup data.

Check the parameters related to the MOTOR TEMP fault function. (See Chapter 6, Group 30,)

NO MOT DATA

No motor data or motor data and inverter data are not matched.

Check the motor data obtained by parameters 99.4...99.9.

PANEL LOSS (5300) programmable fault function 30.02)

The control panel communication that was selected by the transmission unit failed.

Check the connection of the control panel (refer to the relevant hardware manual)

Check the control panel connector.

Replace the control panel on the mounting platform.

Check the fault function parameters.

PP OVERLOAD

The IGBT junction temperature is too high. The reason may be due to overload at low frequencies (eg, large load and rapid change of direction under high inertia).

Increase the ramp time.

Reduce the load.

REPLACEFAN

The operating time of the inverter cooling fan exceeds the estimated life.

Replace the fan.

Reset fan running time counter 1.27.

START INHIBI

The optional boot disable hardware logic is activated.

Check the start inhibit circuit (Agps board).

SYNCRO SPEED

Set the motor rated speed value in parameter group 99.08 and correct: this value is too small for the synchronous speed of the motor. The margin is 0.1%. This warning is valid only in DTC mode.

Check the rated speed on the motor nameplate and set the parameter 99.80 accordingly.

TEMP DIFxx y (2.28 INT FAULT INFO)

The temperature difference between several parallel inverter modules is too large. Xx(1.12) indicates the drive module number and y is the phase (U, V, W).

Check the cooling fan.

Replace the fan.

Check the air filter.

THERMISTOR(4311)

When the motor overheat protection module is THERMISTOR, the thermistor detects overtemperature.

Check motor rating and load.

Check the startup data.

Check the wiring of the D16 port to the thermistor.

USER MACRO

The user application macro is being stored.

Please wait.

DOWNL OADING FAILED

Control panel download failed. No data is copied from the control panel to the drive.

Confirm that the control panel is in local mode.

Download it again (sometimes it may be a connection problem).

Contact an ABB representative.

UPLOADING FAILED

The top function of the control panel failed and no data was copied from the drive to the control panel.

Work again (sometimes there may be interference problems in the connection). Contact an ABB representative.

DRIVE IS RUNNING DOWNL OADING NOT POSSIBLE

It is not allowed to download when the motor is not running.

Stop the motor and perform the download.

WARNING JOYSTICK

The drive stops and cannot be started.

Check the operating lever, DI2-4 and AI1 or AI2 wiring.

If fieldbus control is used, check the settings for parameter 64, 1 (independent operation selection).

Change the selection of parameter 10, 14FB Stoplim Sel.

NO COMUNICATION(X)

A cable problem or hardware failure has occurred on the control panel link.

Check the control panel link connection.

Pressing the RESET button may take half a minute to reset the control panel. Please wait.

(4) = The model of the control panel is not compatible with the application version of the drive.

Check the model number of the control panel and the program version of the drive application. The control panel model is printed on the outer casing of the control panel. The application version is stored in signals 5, 02.

NO FPREE ID NUMBERS ID NUMBER SETTING NOT POSSIBLE

The control panel link contains 31 workstations.

Disconnect a workstation from the chain. Release an ID signal.

NOT UPLOADED DOWNLOADING NOT POSSIBLE

The upload function is not executed.

Perform the top loading function before downloading. See the chapter "Control Panel".

WRITE ACCESS DENIED FARMETER SETTING NOT POSSIBLE

Some parameters are not allowed to be modified while the motor is being shipped. If modified, the modified value is not accepted and this warning message is displayed.

The parameter lock is in the ON state.

Stop the motor and modify the parameter values.

Open the parameter lock (see parameters 16, 02)

ACS 800 TEMP (4210)
