TUV Rheinland Group recently announced that its new photo biology laboratory was opened in Shenzhen. This is the second photo-biology laboratory it opened in South China to meet the growing demand for testing LED products.
Shenzhen is China's main LED hub with more than 1,800 LED companies and is oriented to the export market. With the launch of the new test laboratory in Shenzhen, the Guangzhou and Shenzhen Photobiology Labs have been established one after another, and the LED test capability has also been improved. According to the LED industry research report, the global LED lighting market penetration rate has risen rapidly, and the market value in 2014 is expected to reach US$17.8 billion.
