According to analysis, LED has obvious characteristics such as long life, high luminous efficiency, no radiation and low power consumption, and its spectrum is almost entirely concentrated in the visible light band, and the luminous efficiency can reach 80-90%. If we compare LED with ordinary incandescent lamp, spiral energy-saving lamp and T5 trichromatic fluorescent lamp, we can find that the ordinary incandescent lamp has a luminous efficiency of 12lm/W and the life is less than 2000 hours; the spiral energy-saving lamp has a luminous efficiency of 60lm/W. Life is less than 8,000 hours;

The T5 fluorescent lamp is 96lm/W and has a life of about 10,000 hours. The white LED with a diameter of 5mm can achieve a luminous efficiency of 20~28lm/W and a lifetime of more than 100,000 hours. Therefore, it is predicted that the future LED life limit will be gigantic.
