introduction

With the mature development of the third generation mobile communication network, the application of video surveillance technology based on the mobile communication network is becoming more and more extensive. Based on the advantages of high coverage, high reliability and fast transmission rate of 3G network, this paper designs and implements the visual monitoring of car anti-theft alarm system. This design is based on the existing electronic car anti-theft alarm, through the expansion of the universal interface, to achieve the function expansion of the original alarm system of the car body, the overall structure block diagram shown in Figure 1. This article focuses on the design and implementation of the video surveillance part of the system.

The video monitoring part of this system is based on InterPXA270 as the core hardware platform, and the upper-layer application is realized through the software development of the embedded WindowsCE operating system. The design uses a streaming interface to develop the camera driver, and uses the interface provided by the camera driver to realize the real-time image data collection under the embedded WindowsCE. The original image is encoded and compressed in MPEG-4 format. At the same time, SOCKET programming is used on the WindowsCE side to achieve Monitor data transmission.

1 Hardware platform

The structure of the existing car anti-theft alarm system is shown in the dotted frame in Figure 1. This article focuses on the design and implementation of the video surveillance part of this system. The hardware of the video monitoring part includes three parts, a camera to collect monitoring data, a multimedia processor and a communication module. The hardware construction diagram is shown in Figure 2. The hardware platform of the video surveillance part is based on the InterPXA270 processing chip of the InterXScale micro-architecture.
