Scottish school iPad instead of books

Scottish school iPad instead of books According to foreign media reports, an independent Christian school in Scotland abandoned traditional books, pencils, papers, and other school supplies instead of iPads.

Freser Speirs, an IT teacher at the school, which is called the Cedars School of Excellence, said: "We want to give every student an opportunity to use the best equipment available today."

105 students from this school attend classes and have iPads. These students range from 5 to 15 years of age. Students will also use the iPad to do homework. Each iPad will be equipped with a keyboard dock for student input.

Each student’s iPad can connect to the school’s wireless network, from school to a variety of subjects, or to a pre-approved site for learning English, math, language, and history.
