LED lighting, as a new type of light source in the 21st century, has developed rapidly in recent years and is also an innovation and revolution in the history of light source. It is destined to occupy an important position in the future. However, the real problem is that the hype of LED lighting is a bit overheated, and there are still a series of problems to be solved in LED lighting. How do we view the growth of LED lighting objectively and rationally? I believe that we should look at the development of LED lighting with a development perspective, optimistic about its future prospects, adopt a positive and enthusiastic attitude, support and promote its development, and in application. Improve, improve, but should not be blindly and disorderly promoted. Just as a child learns to walk and wrestle when he is one year old, his growth requires a process, and it is unrealistic to talk about large-scale applications now. If the society can't treat LED lighting correctly, there will be two problems: one is too big investment, the investment is wasted; the other is that there are more hidden dangers for the future.
I am not conservative or an opposition to whether or not to support the application of LEDs in lighting. However, what I oppose is the kind of exaggeration and bragging about the fact that regardless of the actual situation, regardless of the object, and not actively solving the problems in the advancement, blindly pursuing the number of pushes and unrealistic indicators, claiming energy saving of 60% and 80%. way of doing. Therefore, I hope to start from the analysis and find a place suitable for my own characteristics, pilot first, and gradually promote. For example, indoor lighting should first be used in residential stairwells, walkways, etc., which need to be equipped with energy-saving self-extinguishing control switches. This is a "small project" that is suitable for LED advantages and has great economic and social benefits. Another example is the shop window, the product display rack, the key lighting of the cabinet, as well as the lighting of the auxiliary spot such as ceiling spotlights, wall washers and corridors, bedside lamps of the hotel, night lights, etc.
LED road lighting should also be analyzed. Low-power (such as 150W or less) LED street lights have certain energy-saving effects. The sidewalks, branch roads, residential roads, and pedestrian streets can be applied gradually, and the scope is gradually summarized, improved, and expanded. In short, the initial stage should start with “small thingsâ€, not greedy, often starting from “small placesâ€, more effective, less detours, and easier to succeed.
