The National LED Quality Inspection Center is set up in conjunction with Xiamen's optoelectronic industry, industrial resource advantages and regional economic development needs. With the goal of “International Advanced, Domestic Leading, Full-featured†LED Application Product Testing Platform, the investment is 108 million yuan, building area 10,000 square meters, there are 5 laboratories, testing capabilities cover all applications in the LED industry chain, the middle and lower reaches, testing projects covering photoelectric color thermal performance, safety performance, environmental adaptability, material properties and electromagnetic compatibility, etc. The indicator is the most complete laboratory for domestic testing projects.
After the completion of the center, it will build a testing technology service platform for new product research and development, standard formulation and data mutual recognition of the domestic and cross-strait LED optoelectronic industry chain, which will fill the gap in China's lack of inspection capability of semiconductor light-emitting device products and solve the long-term problem. Lack of detection methods, insufficient detection ability, and incomplete basic test data provide technical support for technology development, design verification, identification and testing of the entire industrial chain, and promote the transformation of scientific research results into productivity, which will generate huge economic benefits.
