Microsoft: Xbox 360 Life Cycle is Still Not Over

Cedrik Delmas, director of Xbox Marketing at Microsoft France, published his opinion on the Xbox 360 in an interview.

Cedrik Delmas said that the Xbox 360 life cycle is still far from over, and the most direct proof is that Microsoft has not yet lowered the price of Xbox 360 products across the board. We may fine tune the price of the Xbox 360 after the E3 show, but it is safe to say that we have nothing new to show this year. If we need to deal with Nintendo, we must come up with new products immediately, but the actual situation is not the case.

Although Cedrik Delmas' conversation has disappointed many users, it does not mean that Microsoft will not take action at the E3 2012 conference. Because 2012 is the final year for Microsoft Xbox 360 to play, Microsoft will likely announce the launch of the next-generation Xbox in 2013 at the E3 2012 conference.

As for Kinect, Cedrik Delmas said that Microsoft has sold 620,000 Kinects in France and sold 2.7 million Xbox 360s, of which more than half were sold in the Xbox 360+ Kinect package during the Christmas shopping season.
