According to reports, Kingston today announced the sale of its first USB 3.0 U disk.
The USB 3.0 U disk on sale is divided into 16GB (DTU30/16GB), 32GB (30/32GB), and 64GB (DTU30/64GB). The read speed is 80MB/s under the USB 3.0 interface, and the write speed is 60MB/s. USB 2.0 interface read / write speeds are 30MB / s.
According to Kingston's internal tests, a one-hour, 44-minute movie (3.9GB) takes 1 minute and 13 seconds; a 2 hour and 23 minute DVD file (4.4GB) takes 1 minute and 23 seconds.
