1. Always keep the motor clean. When the motor is running, it must always keep the air inlet clean. Dust, water, oil, and other sundries must not be allowed within at least 3 meters around the air inlet to prevent inhalation inside the motor. If these dusts, oils, and water are drawn into the motor, a short-circuit medium is formed, which damages the insulation layer of the wire and causes a short circuit between the turns. The current increases and the temperature rises, causing the motor to burn. Therefore, to ensure that the motor has sufficient insulation resistance and a good ventilation and cooling environment, the motor can be maintained in a safe and stable state during a long period of time.

2. Work at rated current. The main reason for the overload of the oil pump motor is caused by the excessive load of the drive, the voltage is too low, or the mechanical catch caused by the drive. When the motor is running in an overload state, it will cause the motor speed to drop, the current increase, the temperature increase, and the winding coils overheat. If the overload time is long, the overloaded motor will absorb a large amount of active power from the power grid, the current will increase sharply, and the temperature will increase. At high temperatures, the motor's insulation deteriorates and burns. This is the main reason for the burning of the motor.

Therefore, when the motor is in operation, it is necessary to pay attention to checking whether the operation of the transmission is flexible and reliable, checking and adjusting the tightness of the transmission belt, the concentricity of the coupling, and the flexibility of the gear transmission at any time. If any jamming is found, stop the machine immediately to find out the cause and rectify the fault.

3, three-phase current must be balanced. For a three-phase asynchronous motor, the difference between the current of any one phase and the average value of the other two-phase currents in the three-phase asynchronous motor must not exceed 10% to ensure the safe and normal operation of the motor. If the current value of the single phase and the average of the other two phases exceed the specified limit, it indicates that the motor is faulty, and the cause must be ascertained. The fault can be continued only after the fault is corrected. Otherwise, the fault range will be expanded, resulting in the accident of burning the motor.

4, maintain normal temperature. Always check the temperature of the motor bearings, stators, housings and other parts for abnormal conditions, especially for voltage-free, current and frequency monitoring facilities and motors without overload protection facilities, the monitoring of temperature rise is particularly important. If it is found that the temperature rise near the bearing is too high, stop immediately and check the bearing for damage or lack of oil. Whether there are cracks, scratches or damage on the surface of the rolling elements or raceways of the bearing, whether the bearing clearance is too large, and whether the inner ring rotates on the shaft. When the above situation occurs, the new bearing must be replaced before replacing it. Otherwise, the bearing will be further damaged and the frame will collapse, causing a broom and burning the motor.

Whether the temperature and temperature rise of the motor meet the specified requirements, a thermometer can be inserted in the ring of the motor, and the cotton plug is fixed and the temperature of the motor can be observed at any time.

5. Observe vibration, noise and abnormal smell. If the motor vibrates, it will cause the connected part of the load to increase its misalignment, so that the motor load increases, the load current increases, the temperature increases and burns the motor. Therefore, during the operation of the motor, it is necessary to check whether the anchor bolts, the motor end caps, the bearing glands, etc., are loose and whether the connection device is reliable.

6. Ensure that the starting equipment works normally. The technical condition of the motor starting equipment has a decisive effect on the normal starting of the motor. Practice has proved that the vast majority of burned motor accidents and causes are in the starting equipment, such as the lack of phase start, contactor contact arc, fire. The maintenance of starting equipment is mainly cleaning and fastening. Unclean contactor contacts can increase contact resistance, causing heat to burn contacts, causing phase loss and burning the motor. The rust and dust of the iron core of the contactor's suction coil will cause the coil to loosely attract and emit strong noise, increase the coil current, and burn the coil to cause failure.

The electrical control equipment should be placed in a dry, ventilated and easily operated position, and dust should be regularly removed, dustproof measures should be taken, the wire screws tightened, contactor contacts should be inspected for good and reliable contact, and the mechanical parts are sensitive and accurate.
